About Me

My name is Emma Kennedy and I am a registered nutritional therapist with an interest in female and digestive health. I have been working as a nurse for many years, working mostly in areas like general medicine and radiology. I am currently working as a nurse in a cardiac cath lab.

I am a passionate advocate for Nutrition, having suffered my own digestive health issues. My own health issues have led to a keen interest in working with women with gut and hormonal problems. I’m a strong believer in the benefits of diet and lifestyle management in optimising health and healing. I am also a fully qualified reflexologist and a member of the National Register of Reflexologists Ireland. I am accredited by Laya, Healthcare, VHI healthcare and Irish Life health. I provide a therapeutic service to patients suffering from a wide range of disorders. I have also completed a postgrad training in fertility issues.

When I was only in my late twenties when I started to become interested in the area of nutrition after completing a short course in holistic nutrition. Prior to this, my diet was pretty bad… Believe me I was mad for the takeaways!!

However, this short course led me to the decision to study nutritional therapy for three years and I am very pleased to say that I can see the benefits in my own life with increased energy, more motivation to exercise and fewer cravings. The interest in this course was also sparked from the frustration I felt from seeing patients in hospital eating foods with little or no nutritional value. I feel nutrition is a fundamental part of getting people back to optimal health.e led me to the decision to study nutritional therapy for three years and I am very pleased to say that I can see the benefits in my own life with increased energy, more motivation to exercise and fewer cravings. Reflexology is the application of pressure to help relax a client and alleviate stress, bringing a client back in homeostasis or balance. Benefits of reflexology include increased energy, better circulation, improved mood and overall general well-being.
